Terms and conditions

The team can cancel their participation until May 24 2024, when 50% of the participation fee will be refunded. Cancellations from May 27 2023 will not be refunded. The participation fee can not be transferred to the following year without the doctor's certificate. 

The team can sell their entry ticket to another team. In this case, the team must notify the organizers to info@turkucityadventure.com. Team can upgrade or downgrade to another race distance if it's not sold out.  The price difference will be charged if team upgrades their entry. The price difference will not be refunded if team downgrades their entry. Furthermore, team members can be changed until the start of the event. Kindly inform the organizers to info@turkucityadventure.com or to race HQ on the day of the event. 

The participant has familiarized him/herself with the event instructions and understands the demands and risks of the event. The organizer has liability insurance. Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage. Team members under 18 years old should always have a permit from parents. 

The start lists and final results will be published on the event website after the event. Photo and video material will be taken during the event. By registering to the event, the participants agree the material can be used for communicating and marketing related purposes. Participants have the right to use the organizer's material in their own social media updates. In this case the photographer's name must be mentioned.

If the event is cancelled until May 10th 2024 due to circumstances unrelated to the race organization (force majeur, severe weather conditions ect.) there will be a full refund except 10€ / team handling fee. If the race is cancelled later than May 10th 2024 the organization will issue 50% refund per team. 

Prizes are preferably not delivered to teams afterwards. The organization charges shipping cost for sending the prizes.
