Turku City Day
Turku City Day is a relaxed but fast-paced multisport race for teams hungry for adventure in a urban environment in the middle of Turku's most beautiful summer. It is held during daylight as it starts on Saturday 9th of June at 10.00 am. This race is suitable for teams who want to get to know the secrets of the sport in an easy environment and experience the feeling of competition with a relaxed twist. All teams will be given a map for the race and teams will need to use basic navigation skills to complete the route. A fat bike or a mountain bike is best for this race, but an ordinary hybrid/city bike is also suitable. There are also surprising elements along the route so it might that the racers will get wet during the race😊
The fastest teams will finish in just over 3 hours though the route is open for 6 hours. Navigation is entry level and it suits best for the novices and for those who just want to take it easy with the maps.
The course is about 35km, including 20km biking, 10km running and 5km paddling.
